Nitrocarburizing in molten salt baths

Hartownia TS Zbąszynek has been providing the nitrocarburizing treatment in molten salts bath since 2001 with the use of worldwide known technologies such as:
  • ARCOR®,
  • TENIFER®,
  • SURSULF®.
We are treating parts in two branches:
  • Zbąszynek, lubuskie voivodeship, ca. 50 km from Zielona Góra,
  • Siemianowice Śląskie, śląskie voivodeship, near Katowice.

How do we work ?

  • work in a three-shift system - 24 hours a day, 5 days a week,
  • we provide services to customers on the regular basis – completing the order as soon as after 24 hours
depending on the line occupancy.

Nitrocarburizing improves the surface properties of steel products in terms of:

  • Increase of the surface hardness up to the depth of the nitrogen diffusion layer,
  • improvement of tribological properties, including reduction of the friction coefficient,
  • amending anti-seize and anti-adhesive properties,
  • enhancing the anti-corrosion properties,
  • strengthening fatigue resistance,
  • making the product visually more attractive,
  • creating special properties - after developing and agreeing the technological parameters of special treatment.

Nitrocarburizing in molten salt baths improves the surface properties of steel products for various industries like:
